Biden Teases Obama Over Teleprompter Dependence, After Mishap
Fox News ^ | 5-27-09

Vice President Biden is about to find out how well his boss can take a joke.

The vice president razzed the commander-in-chief Wednesday while speaking at the Air Force Academy commencement ceremony in Colorado, poking fun at President Obama's known affinity for his Teleprompter.

Biden made the crack about Obama's crutch after a strong gust of wind blew over one of the vice president's Teleprompters. Biden was talking about Colorado's thin air at the time and when he heard the crash, he added, "and the strong winds."

Then he said: "What am I gonna tell the president when I tell him his Teleprompter is broken? What will he do then

Biden’s best joke was when he said that he didn’t realize how powerful Cheney was until he inherited Cheney’s desk and found Obama’s birth certificate in it.

BO's little citizenship problem is an open secret: SCOTUS knows it, Biden knows it, everyone knows it. Biden will keep jabbing those little bamboo sticks under BO's fingernails.

I think goodwill for BO is wearing thin, and it's only a matter of time before these people cash in the chips. JMHO.

I actually feel bad for him...wrong place...wrong party...wrong time.

Me, too. I don't think he's beyond redemption.

I don't feel sorry for Biden at all.

He brings it all on himself.

How many years has he been acting like such a goof?

Long Time..........

Biden has been on record as a jerk for nearly 40 years. He blamed his wife’s death on a “drunk driver” when (A) the truck driver who was in the accident with his wife was not at fault and (B) not drunk. Played well in campaign speeches and let him play the victim.

His plagiarism was exposed during his 1988 presidental scampaign.

He smeared Clarence Thomas in his opening remarks (in fact THE opening statement) at Judge Thomas’ confirmation hearing. He redacted a quote deliberately out of context to cast Clarence Thomas as an advocate for judicial activism in the courts when Judge Thomas’ full quote immediately disproved that claim.

He’s a turd. And he’s unfit for high office.

Keep the Obama-Biden supreme court nominees in check. Hold VP Biden to the charges he unjustly levelled against Justice Clarence Thomas during his own Supreme Court nomination:

Senator Biden was the first questioner. Instead of the softball questions he’d promised to ask, he threw a beanball straight at my head, quoting from a speech I’d given four years earlier at the Pacific Legal Foundation and challenging me to defend what I’d said. ”I find attractive the arguments of scholars such as Stephen Macedo, who defend an activist Supreme Court that would strike down laws restricting property rights.” That caught me off guard, and I had no recollection of making so atypical a statement, which shook me up even more. “Now, it would seem to me what you were talking about,” Senator Biden went on to say, “is you find it attractive the fact that they are activists and they would like to strike down existing laws that impact on restricting the use of property rights, because you know, that is what they write about.”

Since I didn’t remember making the statement in the first place, I didn’t know how to respond to it. All I could say in reply was that “it has been some time since I have read Professor Macedo … But I don’t believe that in my writings I have indicated that we should have an activist Supreme Court.” It was, I knew, a weak answer. Fortunately, though, the young lawyers who had helped prepare me for the hearing had loaded all of my speeches into a computer and at the first break in the proceedings they looked this one up. The senator, they found, had wrenched my words out of context. I looked at the text and saw that the passage he’d read out loud had been immediately followed by two other sentences: “But the libertarian argument overlooks the place of the Supreme Court in a scheme of separation of powers. One does not strengthen self-government and the rule of law by having the non-democratic branch of the government make policy.” The point I’d been making was the opposite of the one that Senator Biden claimed I had made.
