Celebrating Manly Heroes

I've commented before on celebratory history and how elites in academia like to focus on the "sins of the fathers" in their perspective. This approach, contrary to their claims, is agenda driven and is part of the broader culture war against American exceptionalism and the re-writing of American history.

I recently came across an anecdotal comment that, in a small but profound way, points this out. . .

Great post. We crave stories of real heroes, and I'm ready to hear of Americans, past and present, who truly represent what we are. I'm super tired of the whimpering, sniveling, nauseously sensitive, self-centered males presented to our kids as men. Lets hear about the real fellows, and two good ones to start with are Nick Rowe and Rocky Versace!

At the rate we're going, we'll eventually be celebrating these "manly heroes."

I have to admit, that is a very compelling piece of propaganda from Communist China. Happy, masculine, competent men surrounded by images of workers pleased to be doing their job.

Very reminiscent of our WWII era work posters.
