Two men were indicted by a Walker County Grand Jury last week for the April shooting of a dog owned by a local war hero.
Alfonso Garcia Hernandez, 24, and Michael John Edmonds II, 21, were indicted on June 10 on one count each of cruelty to non-livestock animals after allegedly shooting and killing DASY, a Labrador retriever belonging to Marcus Luttrell, a highly-decorated Navy SEAL and veteran of the war in Afghanistan.

In a just world, that would have been the outcome.

Actually Mr. Luttrell did catch them.

Cool. I remember when the original story broke, wondering if they’d ever catch anyone.

It just said he chased them and cops caught them.
“Luttrell pursued Hernandez and Edmonds for 40 miles
before law enforcement was able to apprehend them
shortly after the shooting on April 1.”

Lutrell held them at gun point when he caught them. He and a Deputy held them until the backup arrived. He kept his cool. But they had no idea how lucky they were.
The two minors with them are testifying against them.

Where do you get this information, personal knowledge or an updated source?

What they should have done is shoot the dogs while serving a no-knock warrant to the wrong house. That way they would have been home scot-free.
To: Salamander
Thanks! I only wish that these scumbags had given Lutrell an excuse.

Glenn Beck played the entire 40 minute 911 call from Lutrell across the 3 counties that he chased these people, also I watched the interview with Lutrell on Beck’s TV show and listened to several telephone updates from Luttrell himself on Beck’s radio program. (Beck and Luttrell have been close personal friends since Luttrell was interviewed on Beck’s radio show over a 2 day period about his book.)
Is that good enough for an “updated source”?
