Wow, this brought back a memory when the newspapers used to print detailed Box Scores for each game. Do they still do that? It has been so long since I have looked it up.

Nowadays, if you want detailed box scores you go to ESPN.com, SI.com or MLB.com.

Wonderful stuff. And a leading role in the game for one of my heroes, Rapid Robert Feller. I’ve been to his shrine in Van Meter, Iowa. Great stuff from a bygone era.
Feller also served in the Navy for four years during World War II and was very proud of his service.
