Three years before the Presidential campaign? More than likely many Dems knew of B.O.'s ineligibility. Perhaps they decided to simply ram him through the process and hope that no one had the guts to register a challenge.

Because this plan was hatched when obama gave his keynote at the dem national convention in JULY, 2004. clinton, among others, had finally found the perfect puppet to further what hey had begun years ago.
