Yep, no doubt about it. The pitch did not make the plate. Being the catcher was standing over the plate and had to reach out in front of him to catch it before it hit the ground, I judge that it landed about 12-14 inches in front.

Those crappy fitting jeans looked old and nasty, like he’d been working in the yard before showing up having won a “pretend to be president” for a day contest.....all his “hey bro” chest bumps and handshakes made him look weak and unprofessional. I just watched the video of President Bush’s famous pitch and I noticed something strange. After 9/11 there was plenty of security, but Obama has soldiers lining the field.

Didn’t see the soldiers, but did y’all hear the boos when Obama took the field? They got drowned out only by the cheers for Musial, when Obama went to shake his hand. For the first time in my adult lifetime, I was really proud of the St. Louis fans. By the way, it was a complete diss of Yadier Molina, to have Pujols take his place to catch the ball. Maybe Yadi refused to stand in front of the plate to take a pitch from a girly man.
