This story has been published in at least three different papers: Helena Independant, The Missoulian and the above Montana Standard. All three had different titles.

Obama visited Butte at least twice (spending the Fourth de July there).

running political campaigns

Fella should have worked for the Republicans. He'd likely still have a job!

It’s not how much you can do, but who you know these days that counts. You have to have basics to qualify for the job, but getting your foot in the door takes some connections. Internet Applications is pretty much a bust unless your connection tells you to do it.

He has drawn state unemployment insurance benefits since shortly after losing his job, and his last weekly extended unemployment insurance benefit check for $191 came in the mail Friday.

Something tells me he will find a job very soon.

Yes, he is white

There is a picture of him in one of the other papers. He's clean cut and well dressed.

(Why is age a negative? Has the Health Care bill passed?)

May I apply for a 'Pinko' exemption from you? Please? Actually, as a Constitutional Conservative non rino, I demand one. :)

As a guy who just found work after two months of looking, I can sympathize with the guy. As a guy that required two months to find work, partly because of the Barney Franks of the world that this guy put into office, and what the Barney Franks of the world did to the economy, I can’t sympathize with the guy.

I too can sympathize since I am also seeking work (for more than two months).

As a guy that required two months to find work, partly because of the Barney Franks of the world that this guy put into office, and what the Barney Franks of the world did to the economy, I can’t sympathize with the guy.

Congratulations to you for finding work and realizing that Barney Frank is responsible (at least in part) for you having to look again for work.

I was "put off" by the newspapers (3) putting this into print. At least this newspaper put a decent headline onto it.

I found it derogatory (or 'phoning it in') to have this be printed considering the subjects 'resume'.

I found it further "IRONIC" that the state almost went for 0bama under the guise of hopy/change and the subjects' work resume included working for same (implied).

I accept your grant without the "...comrade", you of no state given (or perhaps humor or consideration of a conservative without rino intentions?)

I've applied for many, many jobs that I think I qualify for, and I don't even get called back," he says. "I'm starting to sense I'm facing age discrimination.

In today's America, if your over 45 or 50 and lose your job or career....You're most likely really screwed.

Yes and no. Consider those that are graduating this year and are being told that are no jobs for them. (it was on the 'news' just this week)

I remember hearing that back in the 50's and 60's. You (or I) may be screwed, but just a little. I've taken jobs outside of my experience, but it paid the bills.

I give you extreme credit for not speaking of not having 'health care insurance' though. (our elected "leaders know not of what they speak or seek"?) OR what we/is needed?
