As a follow-up... let’s say that I’ve been involved as far back as in the Reagan Administration, and remember meeting with Fawn Hall and Oliver North, and there was a time I was in Miami at the Hotel Intercontinental, on Key Biscayne, where the Contras and the Sandinistas used to come up and “talk”... :-)

You are way older than me. My dad taught me about conservatism, though it wasn’t called that then. He like Nixon but had to agree with his resignation.

Myself, I find am more a Conservative maybe even a Libertarian. I quit supporting the R party a long time ago.

Don’t know how old you are, but I am probably older than a large number of posters here and have been involved with the GOP for quite a long time (several campaigns and so on)... :-)

And believe me, the people in and behind the scenes aren’t getting whacked out about a lot of this stuff. They know that things “turn” eventually, and they’re biding some time now.
