SF City-Funded Adoption Agency Advertises with “Mister Marcus”
AdoptionSF.org, a joint project of the City of San Francisco’s Human Services Agency and Family Builders by Adoption is advertising for adoptive parents on the “Mister Marcus” page of San Francisco’s Bay Area Reporter website. The Reporter’s front page motto is “Serving the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community since 1971.”
“Mister Marcus” publishes a weekly column in the Reporter which covers and publicizes upcoming “leather” events. Examples include: “A weekend of bdsm activity and featuring NW Master and slave contest on Sat. night” (July 2, 2009) and “Hell Hole Fisting Party tonight upstairs at Mister S playroom from 2000 to 0200 next morning” (April 16, 2009),
The rotating ad, which features two men and a little boy, includes the text “We never knew how PROUD we could be until we adopted Ben.” As the ads rotate, the AdoptionSF ad is juxtaposed with ads for the “Healthy Penis Campaign,” also a city of San Francisco-funded effort, which is captioned “I get checked for syphilis every 3-6 months”; an ad for Erossf.com, “San Francisco‘s acclaimed 18+ sex club for gay and bisexual men“, captioned “Bedroom Eyes” and which features a graphic of two men in towels embracing; an ad for the Reporter’s online classifieds page (on which the Adoption.sf ad also appears), which features a photo of a nearly naked man, and is captioned “Check out models and escorts in our new and improved classifieds! More photos and videos! Click here.”

I’m certainly not homophobic, but that does sort of creep me out.
“Hell Hole Fisting Party” would be a great nickname for some aspect of the Obama health care plan, once “Death Panels” has run its course.
On the BART (SF Bay Area transit rail system) I see those ads ALL THE TIME.

There are things that go on the pride parades and on the public streets of San Fran that would make you want to spray your eyes with Lysol just to get the images out of your head.
I can attest to that. Some friends live on the parade route of a Gay Pride Parade (in another city). They now go away that weekend, because of such activities as you refer to. When they asked the City/Parade organizers to reimburse them for the expenses (as this city does with other events), they were refused and told 'You can't fight the gay mafia here'.
This is in Long Beach, Calif.
It’s the same in Philadelphia. Had to cover my son’s eyes with my hands the first time we encountered the “pride” parade on the way home from church.
Satan is getting his way and the weakest among us, the children, are up for grabs.

They said it was all about the actions of consenting adults in private. When do children get to consent to be raised in an alternative lifestyle home by sexual deviants?
The kids end up with no choice but the politically correct bureaucrats get to feel good about themselves at night.
Until they read stories about the men abusing the children and pimping their sons out on the internet like in the Duke University case.
I fear that the problem is much worse. Evil has a horrible way of hiding in the shadows passing itself off as innocent. What we are seeing is just a small bit of it.
Same Sex Marriage steps us one chit closer to removing all obstructions to same sex couples adopting.
They claim there is no “homosexual agenda” and yet where did the calls for marriage law rewrites come from?
