ABC's Charles Gibson on Cindy Sheehan's War Protest: 'Enough Already'

When George W. Bush was President, ABC and Charles Gibson, like most media members, couldn't get enough of anti-war protester Cindy Sheehan.

Now that Barack Obama is in the White House, the host of "World News Tonight" is no longer interested in Sheehan, even telling WLS radio in Chicago, "Enough already."

I guess she served her purpose as reported by the Washington Examiner's Byron York Thurday:

In an appearance August 18 on WLS radio in Chicago, ABC News anchor Charles Gibson was asked about anti-war protester Cindy Sheehan's plans to travel to Martha's Vineyard next week, where she will protest the Iraq and Afghanistan wars while President Obama is vacationing there. Gibson, whose newscast and network featured Sheehan when she led anti-war protests outside President Bush's Texas ranch in 2005, answered, "Enough already."

Why would the Obama PR agent, Gibson, want a protest of his master.?

Charley Gibson had to almost SPIT with disgust when he interviewed genuine war hero and candidate for the Presidency, Bob Dole. His arrogance and demeanor was so insulting and hurtful to Senator Dole that I wanted to slap him across his arrogant, liberal, hollow, celebrity slobbering mug.

So it is NO SURPRISE that now that Sheehan has been all used up by the liberal media to punish President Bush, she is NO LONGER WELCOME.

Cindy is learning a rough lesson.

War is JUST DANDY when a Democrat President leads it.

Here's why:

"I asked Sheehan about the fact that the press seems to have lost interest in her and her cause. "It's strange to me that you mention it," she said. "I haven't stopped working. I've been protesting every time I can, and it's not covered. But the one time I did get a lot of coverage was when I protested in front of George Bush's house in Dallas in June. I don't know what to make of it. Is the press having a honeymoon with Obama? I know the Left is."

Yeah. Sheehan may have gotten a ‘dose of reality’ (maybe a smidgen, ahaha).....realizing that Democrats were USING the anti-war protesters. I tell, ya’....they’re pretty thick.

At least she has actual convictions, unlike most war protesters.

And this has always been true. The Vietnam war protests evaporated overnight when Nixon signed the law ending the draft. Even though the war continued on for two more years.

Does anyone really doubt media bias anymore? Is there anyone out there who seriously does not believe that the media is very very very liberal??

GO CINDY GO!!!!!!

IT was OK when she was protesting Bush.

The fact that she is not a hypocrite is what bugs the democraps

they used her and now she is NOT so useful to them - she would be getting 24/7 coverage if she was protesting a republican

Maybe. However, her general argument that the war is pointless and ill-defined should be much stronger, now that the POTUS basically has no freaking clue what he's trying to accomplish over there.

There’s a reason the only mother of a fallen soldier we know is “Cindy Sheehan”. It’s the same reason she won’t be heard from again.

She’d have to set her a55 on fire to get any MSM attention!

Then we would see this:

ABC news special report: Today former Iraq war protestor Cindy Sheehan has abandoned her liberal stance and become a major contributor to global warming.
