I have multiple sites, each one takes about 2-3 hours to set up. They have been on line for about 2 years, I haven’t touched them since i put them up. Some days I make nothing, other days I might make $75+. But it really works. Very low maintenance involved.

I taught myself AutoCad and now have a great part-time gig doing CAD work for a power company locaded 200 miles away. They send me lots of work and pay me real well. I might even do it full-time...if I ever get sick of spending every day on the golf course. :)
“Using the computer” is sort of a broad term.
I am completely self-taught in Photoshop and Illustrator, and now have a job that, should I ever decide to leave, has given me more real-world graphic design experience than any college ever could.
There are plenty of opportunities and free software out there.
I make a little money on the internet with a couple of web sites like this: Set up a web site devoted to something you are passionate about. Fill it with content and keep it fresh, adding to it on a regular basis. Apply for Google adsense and put the adsense modules on every page of your site. Sign up for affiliate programs with companies selling products related to the theme of your site; cars, books,music,plays, fishing, historic reenactments - whatever. Add a forum and promote your site on other forums on line and anywhere you can.
Get a video camera and a YouTube account and post videos two or three times a week on the same subject as your web site. Cross promote and embed your videos on on your web site.
Use every tool available to drive traffic to your site. If you put in forty or fifty hours a week on two or three sites you can make pretty good money. It is just like any other entrepreneurial venture though. You have to work hard to make real money but you CAN make real money if you work at it.

One of my grandkids gets paid for answering questions that people could easily google ... It’s not a lot of money - but a monthly paycheck works for teenagers...
