What you can do to protest the NFL's attitude toward Rush Limbaugh
American Thinker ^ | Oct 16, 2009 | Ethel C. Fenig

Thanks to modern technology, those who are upset with the National Football League's hostile attitude towards Rush Limbaugh's attempts to join an investor group to purchase the St. Louis Rams no longer have to suffer--or boycott--in silence.

Newton's law of motion - for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction - is applicable to humans also. Reaction has started via newly formed websites, Facebook and MySpace groups; old fashioned phone calls and subscription and series cancellation (yeah, some reactions are harder than others) reaction is also effective.

Watch the games at home — and lie if the ratings people ask you what you’re watching.

I didn’t vote for the clown Obama and I sure as hell didn’t vote for Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson telling the NFL what to do! Boycott all games!...Lets see how NFL asshats like it when when those liberal broadcasters are sitting in half empty stadiums!

Demand the NFL enforce racial proportionality in their rosters to reflect the racial make up of the general population!!!

The best way to protest the NFL is for as many as possible of the people going to the games to bring with them small copies of the Gadsden Flag -- Don't Tread on Me. Those flags need to be all over the stadiums, so EVERY crowd reaction shot will include them.

Use their OWN TV whose revenues feed their greed, to make the national protect for all of us. It is not just the politicians who are treading on us. It is also the corporate bigwigs who are treading on us.

I think that's the best way to protest the NFL. See below for more.

Have the Zer0bama Pay Czar regulate all NFL salaries including owners and officials.

If you like football, watch the college games and forget the greed-driven NFL even exists. Better yet, get off your keister and go the local high school games. These kids deserve your support more than the thugs who play in the NFL and the (plantation) owners who reap the huge profits.

It is obvious that conservative dollars don’t spend as well for the NFLPA as liberal dollars do.

That’s ok - it’s more money that I have to spend on other activities than the NFL.

Buh-bye, idjits!!

Dont turn them on. If the TV is on, it is tracked by cable or satellite company and they make money.

My team, The Vikings are 5-0. Sorry, no boycott happening here. Besides, the NFL Owners are just trying to stay out of the line for nationalization. If Rush became even a minority owner, the NFL would end up at the very front of that line and our tax dollars would help pay the salaries of the members of the players union.

It's football season?

I can't express to you how little I care about football. Or most other "professional" sports for that matter. I am passionate about them when it comes to the issue about taxpayers putting out a dime towards any professional team. I don't want any of my money going to build stadiums, arenas, etc. If you think about it not only are we subsidizing somebody's business because it cannot stand on it's own we are also subsidizing newspapers, TV, gambling, etc. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for all of these businesses but only if they can stand on their own.

As far as Rush Limbaugh goes? It's his damn money and he can do whatever he wants with it. I don't care about his money, or Oprah's for that matter. As long as it is not used to take away my rights. They can pile it up and burn it or give it to the NAACP or the KKK if they like. I don't care an neither should you.

The issue about subsidizing professional sports teams pales against our big problem in the country. That is nonprofit corporations. What really gripes me are the Al Sharpton's and Jesse Jacksons and a host of others that illegaly abuse the US nonprofit corporation laws in America. From Judicial Watch to the ADF to Consumers Union to Jimmah Carter there are 100's of thousands of bogus nonprofits operating in America and ripping off the American taxpayer. ACORN, simple, should not exist. Note that the funny thing about ACORN is that a white "ginger kid" and his family have been making major money off blacks for years. Dummies.

Just a little rant....
