Ivanka Trump says 'I do' As She Weds Publisher Fiancé In Lavish U.S. Ceremony
Daily Mail Reporter 27th October 2009
American socialite Ivanka Trump has married her publisher fiancé in a lavish U.S. ceremony attended by a host of Hollywood stars.
The daughter of Donald and Ivana Trump married Jared Kushner at Trump National Golf Club in New Jersey on Sunday. Trump, 27, is the co-host of the U.S. Celebrity Apprentice, a vice president at her father's real estate company, and has a jewellery company, the Ivanka Trump Collection. Kushner, 28, is publisher of The New York Observer and an executive at the Kushner Companies, which owns and manages commercial real estate and apartments.
Among the star-studded guests at the Jewish ceremony were Russell Crowe, Natalie Portman, Barbara Walters, Regis Philbin, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and the current New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo. For her big day, Ivanka donned a custom-made lace Vera Wang gown and diamonds from her own jewellery collection.

"another one bites the dust." She does nothing for me. She looks like her old man in drag. Very unnerving.

Proof that Ivanka is not going to age well:

LOL, I call this a victory for geeks everywhere. Jared looks pretty dorky...and Ivanka.. well, let's just say not guilty isn't innocent enough.

What a gorgeous dress and she looks beautiful.
I think she has turned out well, she didn’t take up with Eurotrash or go down the path of so many kids of rich parents.

This was a merger not a marriage. The offspring of two slum lords.

"I think you are confusing Ivanka Trump with her mother. " I don't know. Take off those air-bag enhancements, cut her hair and style it in the Trump-onion, and dress her in a Brioni suit, and you've got the Donald 35 years ago.

It looks to me as if they married among their own kind, have similar life experiences, families, and probably similar expectations. He isn’t ugly, he just looks like most guys his age, no better, no worse. She could have gone for something a lot more flashy, given she didn’t have to marry for money. Good for them. I wish them well, and I do not begrudge them their wealth.

She doesn’t seem the type to be a trophy wife- at that, she would have the trophy husband if that is what it is all about.

Actually, he strikes me as having fairly feminine features. He's not ugly, just not masculine.

I agree. I’m so sick of strapless wedding dresses. Maybe she will bring sleeves back. I think she’s really pretty and very well spoken.
To: Aria
Yeah, I think she went to the Wharton School so she’s definitely miles ahead of say Paris Hilton in the brains dept.

It was an orthodox jewish wedding. Arms must be covered.
All the arriving guests received a shawl to cover themselves.
Interesting, very interesting.

Well, he doesn’t have much of a chin. Perhaps he is one of those men who isn’t really attractive until he reaches a certain age and his face fills out, and she sees the potential. But, what the heck, she’s married to him, not me, and if she likes his looks, that’s the important thing. Wonder how much the lawyers charged for that pre-nup.

I know- huge arms and fat shoulders look terrible in strapless dresses. Strapless gowns are for very slender women with a small chest and slender shoulders-in my opinion, of course.
