Redskins ban signs at FedEx Field
The Washington Post ^ | 10/26/2009 | Dan Steinberg

Do you see this sign? I fished this sign out of a garbage can outside FedEx Field. It was in the garbage can because there's a new policy that says no signs of any sort are permitted inside the stadium. Even signs sending best wishes to husbands in Afghanistan.

Dan Snyder has a right to enforce any rule at his stadium.

Yeah. But I think he changed the rules after he sold the tickets. I'd love to see those disgruntled fans (and I know one) who wish to, use it as an excuse to get out of their seat contracts.

Don’t want to Offend anyone!

Speaking of offensive, what about pink gloves and referees who announce penalties in Spanish?

The argument that it's Snyder's house and he can set the rules is a non-starter. Doesn't matter whether Snyder's right or wrong on the policy, it's how everyone perceives it. So far, it seems they all seem to take offense to it as a freedom of speech issue.

With any luck this will be the end of Snyder.

Don’t worry, Dog. Big D will hang a couple of L’s on their sorry a$$es. Then they’ll fire Zorn and have to start ALL OVER AGAIN. Doesn’t that just break your heart?

But the Lions fans did have the Millen Man March, an impressive historical event.

A Snyder style fool. Of course in this case it’s not like he doesn’t know what they’ll say. His team stinks, his team has stunk since they became his team, nobody likes teams that stink and everybody knows it’s his fault. Doesn’t take much imagination to guess ahead of time what the signs might say.
