YOU SEE AN ARMORED CAR DRIVE OFF, A LARGE BAG OF MONEY FALLS OUT. WHAT DO YOU DO?

No one saw the truck drive off, it left the alley between the bank and another business. You could pick up the cash and no one would see you. What should you do?

If you do keep it, wash the whole load in a clothes washer to get rid of the drug residue, otherwise you’ll get busted as a dealer as well. :-)

Return the money.

The old street rule about found money is that if it’s a lot of money, whoever lost it will come looking for it. Often, those types of folks are not agreeable.

I’m not talking about finding $100 cash or a wallet with walking around money (I once found $80+ in NYC on the corner of 3rd & 53rd Street, someone lost change for $100, evidently).

I’m talking about a bag or container of bills, amounting in the $1,000.

Honesty is the best policy.

>>Who says the Kennedys have given 10% ?!?!?!?<<

Remember, this is other people’s money used for his personal benefit (buying his way into heaven).

At one time Brink’s drivers were offered a bounty on armored car robbers. $5000 per wounded robber, $10,000 per dead robber. One driver collected $20,000 when a gunman demanded the Brink’s guard hand over the two bags of money. Which he did and then promptly shoot the fool holding a bag in each hand, then turned and shot his accomplice. A good day’s work.

I’d call out to the driver without going near the bag.

I would call the nearest Acorn location and explain that I was a Nigerian businessman who had dropped $1.2 million in a bag in an alley near xxx, and I would gladly let them keep 20% if they would so kindly retrieve it for me. :D

Take the money and give it to the closest homeless shelter. NOT!

Easy question. The money gets returned, my integrity remains intact.

I would keep it all.

Your integrity and $1.27 will get you a 16oz. coffee at our local 7-11.

I can’t make a decision until I can see and feel the money.

That is why they insure their drivers. They are prepared to lose a bag now and then.
I’d keep it!

Take it into protective custody.

Very tempting.

I would hope that I would have the integrity to immediately call the police.

I could never believe that there isn't CCTV nearby taking videos.

Turn it in. The money isn't mine, and anything I buy with it wouldn't have the Blessing of the Almighty.

I’d return it to the bank.

After, of course, a large and unreasonable “retrieval fee”.

And a similarly large “inspection fee”: safety first!!

The paperwork must be done, so there’s an Inventory Fee, a Repacking Fee, and a Contents Description Fee.

And the bank can have what’s left. After all, turnabout IS fair play. . . . (evil grin)
