Carrie PreJean Calls Larry King Question "Inappropriate"; Removes Mic and Threatens to Leave - Video

Here is video of Carrie PreJean on Larry King Live last night where there was a really bizarre exchange between PreJean and King. King asked PreJean why she agreed to settle out of court in a lawsuit against the Pageant that fired her. PreJean said she could not talk about the terms of the settlement because it was a confidential agreement. King persisted in asking "why" she settled, not about the terms of the settlement.

PreJean then told King he was being "inappropriate," and that she could not talk about the settlement.

King moved on and took a call but as he did PreJean began talking to someone off set and then started unhooking her microphone. But bizarrely, she did not immediately leave. She stayed there and kept talking to someone off set, and even talked to King but without a microphone. . . . (VIDEO)

Actually, I’m going to agree with RexBeach: Prejean could have handled this better. She could have made King look even MORE foolish. Imagine a Coulter or a Malkin in this situation. They would have TORN King up. Instead, the exchange was awkward.

I know you are eager to defend Prejean because her beliefs mesh with yours, but you run the risk of not being able to objectively see when a conservative icon falls short. This is the kind of mentality that led the Republicans to nominate McCain last year.

Remain objective. Prejean is pretty and courageous for standing up for her beliefs. But based on most of the exchanges I’ve seen her have with *hostile* press, she’s not quite ready for prime time.

Prejean’s Ex BF: Carrie Wanted Me to Lie

Posted Nov 12th 2009 1:00AM by TMZ Staff

Carrie Prejean’s ex-boyfriend — the guy to whom she sent the XXX solo video — tells TMZ Carrie and company called him last week and tried getting him to “lie” and say she was 17 when she shot the video.

During an audio interview with TMZ, the man — who asked us not to conceal his identity — says Carrie sent him the video when they were involved with each other in 2007. He says Carrie sent him numerous explicit videos and insists the one in question was shot when she was 20.

We have verified this is indeed the guy to whom Carrie sent her solo video — which ultimately torpedoed her settlement with Miss California USA.

These are the pictures he took with Carrie during a long, romantic weekend in San Diego.

Carrie’s rep could not be reached for comment.

And, apparently, officially zotted.

That viking kitty had ninja training. Snuck in and took care of business without me even noticing.

Back in the early 80’s King was the only syndicated voice on talk radio. He interviewed me about a project I was heading up. Newsweek picked it up and did an article based on the interview. He was noteworthy before Rush hit the air waves.

I’ll never forget the time a few days before the 1992 election when he set up George H.W. Bush by allowing George Stephanopoulis to call in and ask Bush a question about the indictment of Casper Weinberg. He totally set Bush up.

she’s only in her early 20s. Sheesh, the media is so hostile towards her, for what? Disagree with their dogma? She’s no politician yet they treated her like one, she’s just a private individual. The media line of question and constantly badgering is like she committed high crimes

She's not ready for prime time, though she is courageous for standing up for her beliefs. I feel sorry for her that her boyfriend betrayed her in a despicable manner.

His bias has become criminal. He’s barely able to hide his hatred for conservatives.

His bias has been criminal for a long, long time.

She is not running for office of any kind, she is not a politician nor has she ever represented herself as one. She most likely went on this show at the advice of her advisors(she is promoting a book)and probably needs the money also.

She just where do you get off saying she is "Not ready for Prime Time" as if she WAS running for office?

It is a rather stupid statement on your part considering the lady never, ever said she was a politician wannabe.

Okay, that was just bizarre. He moved on to a caller that, IMO, asked a legitimate question. She was being stubborn.

Why are people making this woman a poster child for conservatism?

Why does anyone care what she thinks?

It seems hard to believe now, but for a few years you could flabbergast a lot of people by telling them Rush Limbaugh was the highest rated radio talk personality. Everyone assumed it was Larry King, and outside of the talk radio world, no one had heard of Limbaugh.

She stayed there and kept talking to someone off set, and even talked to King but without a microphone

Bizarre only to viewers, who forget that they are not actually in the room with the host & guest, who in turn are aware of many other people in the studio and can interact with them normally. She doesn't need a mic to talk to King, and probably had a friend/advisor/lawyer just off-camera worth talking to at that moment.

The reporter is further proof that people confuse TV with reality.

we are defending her for taking a stand against homosexual “marriage” and then being pilloried by the left, gay media mafia and some even here

no one I know thinks it’s anything more than that
