Wow. That was absolutely dreadful. The sad thing is that the performer was probably serious and thought it was a moving rendition (and not in the bowel sense).

We’ve probably seen this guy in one of the audition episodes of American Idol.

You want to hear a rendention of O Holy Night that will send glorious chills of love of our Lord?

David Phelps is the answer
www.youtube.com/watch?v=EZFxG6-Wsnl&feature=related
hope I got this right just type in David Phleps O Holy Night.

My mother used to sing this song. She had a fantastic singing voice. Everytime I heard her my tears would flow freely.

After hearing this gifted gentleman the tears started flowing:

My impression?

So Sublime
Joyful
inspiring

The awe and wonder in his voice and his total and complete love of Jesus comes through in his voice.

Please listen.

Mariah Carey - O Holy Night

I'm with you. I don't even like Mariah Carey, but when she hits those high notes, it gives me goose-bumps.

Now I'm going to have to dig it out and play it.

Best (or at least a sentimental favorite from childhood) is actually Jim Nabors. That's the first recording I remember and it has been my favorite ever since. The guy has pipes.

Trans Siberian Orchestra’s Ghost of Christmas Past. I play it every Christmas, and at other times when I want a moving experience. Might play it tonight.

David Phelps performed this piece with such devotion to our Lord. Chills. Praise. He also sang “It Is Well With My Soul” and it was beautiful.

I tired to listen, but couldn’t - Mariah Carey makes it all about her. It sounds like she’s singing it to a brothel customer, not a church.
