Why is it that whenever Microsoft tries to have a little "fun" it comes across as creepy or overly controlled? This time it's Microsoft's Mission Viejo Store employees engaged in a fit of awkward boogie that some would call the Electric Slide. Oh boy, corporate fun... it's a bit like corporate rock only less natural. Now go ahead and view the entire 4 minutes and 44 seconds of the video after the break, we double-dog dare you.
Yikes! If all those participants were staff at that store, it’s no wonder Microsoft has been floundering for so many years. Actually, here’s hoping that Windows 7 takes off and does well.

ps. I work for a similar hi-tech company that constantly is pushing the same type of crap on us. I don't even go the cafeteria any longer, so that I don't have to walk past rows or posters or indoctrination or propoganda espousing some other socialist, diversity piece of crap.

At that time the Press favored Windows because they considered IBM as an old-hat stodgy company whose employees wore suits and who sang company songs.
Needless to say, I preferred OS/2. Another example of the Press backing the wrong side for the wrong reasons.
Me too..... I preferred OS/2 way over MS.
The really frightening part is, they’ve obviously been working on these “sweeeet moooves” for some time.

I think some of them are customers. Orange shirt who kind of looks like Ballmer is a customer. The young ladies with purses are customers.

Why? Are you only comfortable running computer software that everyone else around you runs? No one at work really likes Microsoft Windows, though it has become a standard for the pointy haired manager-types. I'm starting to see stuff in my company inbox that indicates that Microsoft Windows 7 may not be all that great either.
I'm a Unix/Linux/Mac OS X kind of guy. I wouldn't "take the plunge" to Microsoft Windows 7 for anything. I don't like any Microsoft Windows' interface, it makes me feel like driving an ice pick through my forehead. Should I have to pay for that kind of user experience?
I love KDE (yes, the KDE4 release was botched) and Mac OS X though.
You are on the wrong forum. There is nothing socialist about promoting corporate loyalty with employees.
That’s like those steak restaurants that stop serving their customers at peak hours and break out into country line dancing. Texas Roadhouse loves to do this and it’s annoying.
