Here’s my take on it. (this is my very first post on a Tiger thread, I think, because I am not really into sports or the whole entertainment world, even though I am a MUSICIAN! LOL!)
If Tiger had played the “bad boy” persona for the last twenty years, like nearly every other athlete across the spectrum, this would hardly be a blip on the radar. The fascination with his case comes from the elaborate public image he built up for himself as the squeaky clean icon of multi-cultural goody-goodyness, rocketing to the very top of the rarified domain of GOLF, once the exclusive realm of the White, Christian, Upper Class. What people RESENT is the deception and the hypocrisy, not the infidelity.
Does anyone remember the email that circulated just after the Inauguration, that lauded Tiger for NOT fawning over Obama? A lot of conservatives were fooled by Tiger, and are very angry at him now.
But they are more angry at THEMSELVES for alloing themselves to be snookered by this weasel.
Just my humble opinion.
Eating cereal?...I hope he’s eating Kashi...low cal/carbs....he needs to stay fit for the single chicks of course.
LOL! I think the average person could go golfing for relaxation but it is probably just his job. I wonder if he even enjoys playing.
I hope she gets in the moving van with the kids, hires the lawywer in CA and moves on. She is young enough where she can still have a happy life. He is just a train wreck.
I have sympathy for her and the kids plus the other golfers who were treated like garbage or at least second class by the PGA, Golf Channel and sports news media. The same people who overlook his serial adultery and probably steroid or PED use.

i don’t think this has anything to do with obama. This is a case of someone being 180 degrees different than his public persona of good clean boyscout/family man, that dichotomy is what has everyone interested.

I am in no way absolving the women of their culpability, but Tiger was not a victim in this, he DID bring it on himself. Blaming the women and absolving tiger would be like blaming the liquor instead of the drunkdriver who killed innocent bystanders.
