BULLHEAD CITY - Police believe a 40-year-old woman swallowed a $3,000 diamond ring she was allegedly attempting to steal from Feil Jewelers Friday afternoon.
Sandee Lynn Sisemore was arrested on suspicion of theft and possession of prescription drugs at the store, located at 2107 Highway 95. She was taken to the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.
Reviewing surveillance video, Bullhead City police found Sisemore had replaced the ring with a fake one, stamped China.
She also had two other fake rings and some fake IDs in her possession, according to police spokesman Lt. Jerry Duke.
Police were unable to locate the missing ring on Sisemore. The video showed opportunity for Sisemore to have swallowed the ring, Duke said. Jail officials have been alerted as to the possibility, he said.
The prescription drug arrest was due to the fact Sisemore had pills in an unmarked bottle.
Duke recommends that pills be kept in the original prescription bottle or a printout of the prescription be carried to avoid a similar fate.
I’m sure it will come out in the end.
Easy enough to prove. Just get an xray. Or do what they did to drug smugglers when I was an intern at LAC USC Med Center working the jail ward. Chain her to a commode, and get her to drink “ Go Lytely” and strain.....
Precisely; it should be easy to spot, the shiny thing amongst the digested, processed material. Use gloves and tweezers, wash it off, disinfect it and then good as new and no one will ever know the difference.
“Liverish”???
Too much black bile in her system. I would have recommended a good bleeding, but there you go.
Leeches. Cutting-edge technology.
Actually, that ad demonstrates that we haven't really made that much progress... look at all the ads for "colon cleansers" and whatnot. Not really any different...
A 3000 dollar poo, that is just WOW. but I don’t want to dig for it......
Control and continuity of evidence scat watch BUMP.No poo will go un-sifted.
Med consent for x-ray cannot be co-erced.
