I've never posted a personal observation before but the Weather Channel has pushed me over the edge. Today one of their meteorologists* cheerfully reported the extreme freezing weather the USA is experiencing, in some areas, is caused by a extremely unusual High over Greenland. The chances of such a high are "less then 1%" reports the meteorologist*. No explanation of the statistic, no mention of the previous warm climate of Greenland and Iceland, just believe and support this flawed, but politically correct, science.
*Meteorology degree not verified.

Yeah, it’s pretty sickening how they push it, considering the business they are in and how (credible?) it makes them look.

Said high pressure system will cause a snowstorm to back up into the Gulf of Maine and drop a foot of global warming this weekend onto my driveway here in MA(two feet plus in Maine)....

Its nauseating how they relentlessly promote him! I used to watch TWC for a few minutes as I was getting ready for bed but I can't stand Al and hearing and seeing all those promos for him made me want to barf. I've stopped watching them and have switched to my local NOAA radar forecast on TV.

The Weather Channel is owned by NBC. See any possible agendas?
By the way at 2:45 in the Detroit area, it's a balmy 14 degrees and the temperature isn't supposed to rise above 25 for another week.

On July 6, 2008, NBC Universal, Bain Capital and Blackstone Group agreed to purchase The Weather Channel from Landmark Communications. Follow the money.
NBC (a division of GE) owns TWC. Of course GE (and Immelt) are heavily invested in the global warming hoax.

Thinking about that ... seems to this non-expert that our winter up here in Alaska has been pretty - well, comfortable - so far. We’re just now getting sub-zero temps.

Funny.....

Britain is bracing itself for one of the coldest winters for a century with temperatures hitting minus 16 degrees Celsius, forecasters have warned. [snip] And the likelihood is that the second half of the month will be even colder. Weather patterns were more like those in the late 1970s, experts said, while Met Office figures released on Monday are expected to show that the country is experiencing the coldest winter for up to 25 years. [snip] A spokesman for the Met Office said: It is certainly a while since we had cold weather like this and there isnt any sign...

Britain is bracing itself for one of the coldest winters for a century with temperatures hitting minus 16 degrees Celsius, forecasters have warned. They predicted no let up in the freezing snap until at least mid-January, with snow, ice and severe frosts dominating. And the likelihood is that the second half of the month will be even colder.
