Unscripted: The Complete Series (2-Disc Series) (2005)
Road to Perdition (2002)
American Beauty (1999)
I am not familiar with any of these movies, but i am a huge fan of Bond since i was 8 yrs of age.. Could someone shed some light on Sam Mendes,My choice would have been Danny Boyle..
I think he is married to Kate Winslet. Road to Perdition and American Beauty were good movies, but boy was I sorry I watched Revolutionary Road-—utter garbage.
Typical “hate anything American” type of director.
like James Cameron who just gave us ‘Dances with Smurfs’
Roger that.
If you know the proper people who have a opinion on this i would appreciate it if you would ping them..
As i said i am a huge fan of JB,but do not have any knowledge on Sam Mendes
Perdogg i see you are a big JB fan thought you might this bit of gossip
Perdogg?
Thank SC, i think i am starting to get the hang of the search thing...
I typed in James Bond in search and boom,Perdogg shows up as a JB poster, live and learn.
He also directed “Full metal Jacket” ripoff “Jarhead”
I am not too thrilled nor I am happy with the last few movies that were produced by Cubby’s heirs, Babs and Michael G Wilson make me wish for the good ole days.
I am also displeased with the rumors about Susan Boyle. I am assuming that David Arnold will return. Maybe he will bring Don Black back.
The screenwriter is Peter Morgan who did Frost/Nixon and The Last King of Scotland.
I liked the Last King of Scotland, but the rest of his movies were time pieces which may be a ray of hope. Maybe he is more intuned with the novels.
I am a huge Bond fan have 8 paperbacks i bought when i was a kid,my father liked Len Deighton, but he introduced me to the spy thing..
My wife for my birthday gave me the whole remastered Bond set, which are excellent.
If you read the books Bond is complicated, you cannot tell if he is a good guy or a killer hired to do the queens work..
IMHO i was very impressed with the last 2 movies.
Roger Moore was a comedian.
Sean Connery’s i enjoyed.
Timothy Dalton’s top class with a touch of emotion.
George Lazenby OHMSS a great movie.
If you have a ping list for bond stuff put me on it..
Slainte
you are on it!
