I haven’t read about what was done, but I think we need to start openly naming the perpetrators.
When they'll do something else awful to someone else.
It's not the fault of violence DVDs with their drug and alcohol addled parents, but they have to be kept away from other people for a good long time and retrained in the ways of humanity. I doubt that 5 years is going to do anything for them.

Sorry, I cut and pasted too much. What I said originally is that it’s not their fault that their parents had them watch porn and violence DVDs, etc.
Parents can create monsters, and I hope these parents go away, too. But these boys should not be allowed contact with other people for a long, long time until they have been rewired.
The monsters who did this cannot be rehabilitated and now The UK no longer has the will power to protect even their own children.
The UK papers regularly reveal the names of ‘anonymous’ figures involved in US jurisprudence - obviously US law does not apply there and the reverse applies.
US papers/sites should name these boys - Britons seeking their names need only Google.

They WILL kill again. 100% guaranteed. Great Britain is a lawless hellhole. You couldn’t pay me a billion dollars to raise a family there.
As an American living over here (who can’t wait to get back “home”) I’m used to seeing this crap day after day in the news, and the perps are getting younger and younger. It used to be that freakin’ serial killers like Jeffrey Dahmer started out at this age by torturing animals, these little pukes are starting right out at torturing and wanting to kill humans by the age of 10! These are sadistic twisted little pieces of excrement and God help anyone who comes into contact with them after just 5 years of living in luxury where they will have Play Stations, Sattelite TV, computer games (probably violent), private eduaction and basically 5 star living conditions. If they are this F-ed up by the grand ol’ age of 11, there is no hope for them. Their parents need to be put down, or at the very very least, sterilized. Sorry, stepping off soapbox now.
Ya think? I mean, if this story gets to the U.S. press they can print names? I hate Google and refuse to use it, but if it helps me get these pukes’ name out there I will! Do I go to Google.com instead of Google.co.uk and type in the headline?

Society needs to learn that some criminal acts are so heinous that even a young age does not, and cannot excuse them in any way. Nor can there be any hope for redemption. And as such, only two possible fates can be permitted to await such monsters: either prison for life, or a criminally insane mental institution for life.
How can we get the names?
I think GB has been bad for a long time. About 10 yrs ago, I was traveling in Spain and bumped into a young British woman in a small town who was looking for the same museum I was trying to find. I saw some boys, about 10-12 yrs old, playing ball at the end of a street and I told her I was going to ask them if they had heard of the museum (I speak Spanish and she didn’t).
She was terrified and refused to go with me. She stood at the end of the block watching while I talked to the kids. They were very polite and one of them did know the location of the museum and pointed it out to me.
While we walked, she told me that in England, you would never dream of talking to children that age on the street, because they might “turn on you.” I was stunned.

Under normal circumstances, the perps should not be named. However, the crime these two perpetrated was so horiffic and evil, an exception should be made.
In a related matter, the article makes it clear that they grew up in an abusive home. Clearly, the parents should also be charged with this crime.
That sounds very strange. We’ll have to see if more people in GB have had that experience over there.
The UK has largely abandoned Christianity in favor of atheism and they look around and wonder what has gone wrong.
