I know I will be flamed for this, but I admire Gibbs. His job is to stand in front of reporters and spin, obfuscate, lie, evade, avoid, deflect, attack, etc. etc, all to cover up the many misdeeds, missteps, and crimes of the Obama administration.
As evidenced by the fact that no one has ever gotten a straight-forward answer out of him, I maintain that he does his job very well.

As evidenced by the fact that no one has ever gotten a straight-forward answer out of him, I maintain that he does his job very well. Based on your criteria I would actually agree with you, he is good at what he is trying to do.
My problem with him comes from what it is he is trying to do and that he is the kind of person who would do it in the first place. I detest sophists. So did Thomas Jefferson.

Local radio guy said today that Gibbs told the press the president would be feisty in his speech. Did that really happen?? So he is admitting any feistiness will be practiced and phony. Yeah I’m sure that will work.
