Fellow Freepers...please help. Can someone direct me to a source (internet or junkyard) where I can find some interior parts for a 1981 Ford Courier pickup to help out a very good friend. I don't make these kinds of requests, so please consider that. Need the armrests for both doors and the under handle plastic trim specifically and perhaps some other items.

I feel ya. Been trying to find a similar source for interior parts for a ‘93 Chevy Suburban. Not easy.

You’ll have better luck finding spare parts for the batmobile.

These were basically rebadged Mazda trucks. Likely the parts are compatible, if perhaps a variant color.

Also try Mazda B2000. It’s the same vehicle and the interior parts might be the same as the Ford version.

Some certainly were. My dad and I had nearly identical ones but his had a Mazda engine and mine was Ford.

I second this. I have used it to find a plethora of parts to restore my 1972 VW SuperBeetle.

That is VERY strange. My friend just traded her 81 Courier for a CRX. Ran ok too, somewhere outside of Boise.

Was yours a diesel? IIRC, that was the difference.
Although, there was much shared then. Is it possible you and your Dad had the same motor, with different heads?
(Sidenote) My 1993 Ranger was sold as a Mazda, but in that case it was Mazda selling a Ford product, not the other way around.
