They say pretty much nothing, in English the one I caught says something about “..I am proud of my Latina heritage and will work hard for the Latino community in Texas... “

Full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Property Taxes in Texas are not as high as people would think.

That is true, a lot of people gripe about them, but even accounting for them, Texas has the second lowest per-capita tax rate in the country. The only difference is that people often have to write check for property taxes while other taxes are deducted from paychecks or added to another bill so property taxes seem high. My friends in Arkansas pay about 30% more in property taxes and they have income tax on top of that.

That is not a lie...you have to fill out a background check and also a form for a CHL...that is a registration. You can call it a safety check, a background check or whatever you like, but it is a gun registration whether you choose to call it one or not.

If you have filled one out for some reason other than owning a handgun, let me know.

Well, you need a class 3 license for fully automatic weapons.

Other than that, nope.

A CHL permit doesn’t register a weapon at all. It only licenses the owner. If I remember correctly when I got mine, it didn’t even ask for handgun specifics, so there was no gun registration involved.

The handgun proficiency class my wife is taking for her CHL even provides guns if you don’t own one.

It is a lie.

Registration would involve make, model and serial number. Further, unlike Medina I have a CHL and fill out nothing.

Lying about settled law is not going to get this thermometer pusher a single vote in Texas.

Note, this thread for example, you Medinabots have had your asses handed to you in no uncertain terms. Rather than gaining support you have lost even more.

Good job!

A rather simple process and only $200.00.

The US Constitution needs to be amended disallowing any taxes, levies, fees, etc. on all property, in particularly land.

Funds for public schools could be acquired by a local, flat-rate tax on income, of which the % must be approved by the locales electorate.

You don’t know what you are talking about. A CHL is not gun registration. Neither is the 4473 form as it stays with the dealer. The NCIS background check is not legally allowed to be kept in records.

There is no gun registration in Texas.

If it walks like a nurse and talks like a nurse, it's funky cold Medina.

A slur of all nurses and patriots. You're not a real Texan, you probably have never even been there. So, how is the weather in BOSTON today, troll?

Medina is in over her head and has no clue what she is talking about.
Elimination of property taxes would be nice, but so far she
hasn’t provided any workable alternative.

Goose Creek ISD wants almost twice as much as Harris county.
It would be great if those who actually have a USE for the school could pay for it.

And my damn homestead exemption didn’t kick in until this year.
