Yep.

Most girl-type people have two. That either doubly dubiously redundant, or pleasantly reititerative.

You like charcoal on the grille, or fire underneath from natural gas/propane?

(PS. Good lucre with the ex-ex... )

Just in about 30 minutes ago> The boss paid per diem and hotel bill for the weekend, but I had no chargeable hours.

Pretty blah sitting in a hotel room for two days when you don’t really really really have to be out of town. It was worse i think than being just off for a day while on a job because with the 24” snow (er, global warming) there was nothing open and nothing to “see” like museums or local historical sites.

It sounds like you and gabz are going to get hammered again on Tuesday, Wed, and Thursday.

it would be a drag and i feel sorry you had to be away from home and bored. not much to see out the airport way there, snow or not. i am not looking forward to this. enough was enough and we have had ENOUGH.

At least they spoke English. You could wander into the lobby or lounge and find someone to talk to.

I couldn’t do that on my boring weekend in Shanghai.

They’re saying another 6-10 inches for us, starting tomorrow noonish through Wednesday.

I remember after spending a week in Zhangjiagang (on business), we were thrilled to get to Shangai for three days because we saw other Americans. We almost wept with joy to see a Tony Roma's. We had eaten Chinese food for a week (and I'm not even crazy about Chinese food - here or there) and that barbecued stuff never tasted so good.

we were thrilled

Key word there. We. Plural.

I'm not much of a "hey let's go roaming around sightseeing on weird forms of transportation by myself" kind of guy.

i am basing it strictly on the math. i have 32 inches now with up to another foot expected. you have two feet maybe with 6-8 coming. objectively speaking i have it worse. add in a broken shovel and your functioning snowblower and there’s no contest.

Yeah, but you’re a girl and you have men about the house to do the grunt work. And you work for an employer who is very lenient about snow days.
