Amen. Now we can dispense with the iterative anointing of the annoying Peyton Manning....

Still can't believe he "pulled a Farve" like that.

it’s a gorgeous sunny day here with bright blue skies. i opened the window in the study yesterday bc the sun made the room so hot, but yeah we are surrounded by a snow fortress!

let them whirl like dervishes while Sarah does her thing. what think you of jeri thompson calling on Chris Wallace to apologize for the very thing you and most male freepers are guilty of?

Thanks for asking. The baptism went very well. We missed the brunt of the storm up here in northern NJ, and travel was no problem. I don’t have a decent still photo of the baby; I took some video and will try to capture a worthy frame or two from it.

Actually, I have lived where it got that cold, so yes, I DO know cold. However, I suspect you too would think it was cold if you lived where it rarely got cold and didn’t have a house built for cold weather or cold weather clothing handy. The bad thing about the weather this year is we had a hot summer that went longer than usual and then suddenly it was in the 40s. We generally have a nice mild winter.
But, I will agree with you, 3 degrees is COLD.

I saw a cool machine this morning on Foxnews. It was called a Snow Dragon or something like that. They can scoop up the snow and put it in the contraption and it melts it so it just runs into the storm drain. Kinda cool, but pricey. (I think they said it was 200K).

my SIL’s mom is a preacher’s wife and she told my SIL that she thinks that God is saying, “global warming? Let me show you who is in charge of WEATHER around here!”

I’ve been in a marble hotel room in Mexico when it’s 45 degrees out and there is no heat. So, yes I understand relativity.

And does it melt the snow by magic pixie dust, or by burning fossil fuels?
