O'Reilly Debates Politico's VandeHei over Media Bias Against Sarah Palin, Tea Party Movement - Video

Here is video of Bill O'Reilly debating Politico's Jim VandeHei last night about the bias in the Mainstream Media against Sarah Palin and the Tea Party Movement. O'Reilly said they had done research and found that out of thousands of reports in the Mainstream Media on the Tea Party Movement, "only two" had been positive. VandeHei defended the Mainstream Press against O'Reilly and Fox News' Executive Bill Sammon, who reportedly said that the Mainstream Media hate Sarah Palin and the Tea Party Movement.

VandeHei asked O'Reilly, "How does he know?" O'Reilly responded, "Because we have eyes, Jim."

O'Reilly did a great job here. VandeHei simply won't admit the obvious. He knows it and so does everyone else. Just as the Media actively took Barack Obama's side in the 2008 election, against first Hillary Clinton and then John McCain, they are actively trying to harm Sarah Palin and anything conservative - including the Tea Party Movement. . . . (VIDEO)

The American Media refuses to publish anything except in the German language.

Might as well just completely lose our minds, deny reality, and fly around the room like Peter Pan.

Saw that last night. O’Reilly, who generally has tried at least to give the appearance of giving the benefit of the doubt to 0bama, MSM, etc., seems to be getting frustrated lately. I think he has tried to balance Beck and Hannity a bit, but is finding it impossible to keep giving the libs any rope.

I’d give them all the rope they need, over the limb of a tree.

Little Jimmie was the former Wash Compost propagandist who used to whine and complain that Fox News and not his CNN was playing on Air Force during the Bush era!
Need I say more !

I am still trying to figure out how FOX News, KOA Radio in Denver, and many others refuse to see that Politico is just another left-wing news organization. 99% of the time they take the Dems side and advance the Dems talking points. It's past time to call them out.

Regards,

TS

Is this the same show where he told Brit Hume that the Tea Partiers are right-wing nuts? I have no use for O’Reilly, and lately, none for Beck either, since they’re such good buddies.

That’s swell....more debating of FACTS!! “Is the MSM a biased, left wing group of political hacks?” When will the big “are two and two equal to four” debate be scheduled!

Thats not what O’Reilly said. He noted there were a couple of ‘right wing nuts, just like there are always a couple of far left nuts’ at rallies for either side.

From this thread (source, Mediate):

“Some of these tea party people are nuts! They are! They’re crazy!”

He also goes on to say they're loonies, if you look at the video. Ten percent? He highlights the loonies here, which probably makes him the left's darling, and makes Jon Stewart's statement that he's the only sane voice on Fox understandable. Fact is, in any crowd, there's going to be some "loonies." Why bring it up, unless he's trying to smear the Tea Parties.

That, plus both Beck's and O'R's flat refusal to consider the eligibility issue, makes me distrust virtually anything else they say.

Politico's Jim VandeHei was not capable of refuting O'Reilly's claim. I don't think O'Reilly was particularly effective however.

All said and done, Jim VandeHei reminds me of what is wrong with the MSM. They try to talk over their opponents when they have a week argument and his was as lame as they get!

Jon Stewart is a No Value Added example of a comedian! What he has to say is less than worthless and never humorous.

I watched the OReilly interview with Hume. You’ve taken this completely out of context.

And OReilly and Beck are correct in ignoring the birther nonsense. That is lunatic fringe.

O’Reilly said that 10% of the Tea Party were were real loons. That’s more than a couple.

What were they doing, howling at the moon? They seem normal to me. It didn’t feel like 10% were loons, and I’m fairly active in the movement. They all seem like normal, nice people.

I'm the last to defend O'Bloviator, but O'Reilly actually said: "maybe about 10% of Tea Partiers are crazy."

Overall O'Reilly has been pretty much full of praise for Tea Party Patriots, but doesn't seem to understand fully what the movement stands for.

The vast majority are ‘normal’. Hence BOR’s observing 10%.

There’s no way in hell that 10% are loons. What O’Reilly said was “Some of these tea partiers are nuts. They’re crazy. 10% are just loons, out of their minds”. It’s simply not true, and 10% is not a small number when you’re referring to large crowds. I ask you again, what have they done that makes you agree with that number? Any chance of a straight answer from you? What have they done?
