So it looks like a gathering of people who base their beliefs and actions on evidence and reality? In a sense that is true because the stopwatch doesn’t lie and good intentions won’t bring you success. But isn’t he insulting blacks by implying that they as a group make their decisions based upon on emotion and hope? He should apologize.
There are no racial barriers to Americans wishing to participate in winter sports. I guess the rejoinder is that going to an NBA game is like going to Harlem.

Blacks refuse as a group to do anything “white” then cry “racist” towards any organization or event without whatever level of black partipation they think will do the most political damage. This is just one of many instances of playing the race card that has just about run its course.
I for one am sick of it. It has nothing to do with race, blood, demograhpics, skin color or anything like that. It has to do with corrupt political practices, verbal thuggery and phony victim mentality.
They can go shove their race card where the sun don’t shine. And that includes the WHITE liberals who use the same unfair and unfounded accusations to bully their opponents. Screw ‘em.
Dear Bryant: apparently, they didn’t make the cut based upon honest competition. There is no guarantee of equal outsomes in sports or didn’t you know that. BTW where’s your call for more white guys in boxing and pro basketball you hypocritical POS?

So Gumbel goes on record as being both a racist *and* a bigot. If he was white and had made a similar comment relating to the shorter track distances and basketball, he would have been fired and he probably should have been whatever his melanin content.
Well Summer Olympics looks like:
NBA game?
NFL game?
A post office on the first of the month?
A Detroit street where Obama is handing out checks
from his stash.

Well, Sports in Winter Olympics originated in Northern and Western Europe. When I go skiing, I only see white people. Simply put, Majority of American Blacks live in the South. So how and where do they find the time to participate in winter sports?
