Zoey the Chihuahua is definitely not a lap dog.
This five-pound dog has the courage of a lion. When Zoey saw a rattlesnake lunge at her owners one-year-old grandson, the bulldog came out of her.
The child was in the backyard when a snake slithered up to the toddler and struck. Zoey jumped in between the child and the snake and took all of the bites instead.
She was treated for her bites and is doing well now. Zoeys owner says that These little bitty dogs, they just dont really get credit.
Zoey, you definitely deserve a gold star and a rub on the belly for your brave heroism.

This is to offset the bad opinion so many have of Chihuahuas.

And yet the campaign against Chihuahuas continues unabated.

Chihuahuas don’t know they’re little. They see no difference between a Saint Bernard and themselves.

She was treated for her bites and is doing well now. Wow, I'm amazed that she lived through it!

Actually, to be serious, they are pretty smart dogs. Not as smart as a border collie or an australian cattle dog, but smarter than the average dog.
My grandfather claimed the best pheasant dog he ever had was part chihuahua.

More than one venomous snake bite and a small dog, a miracle!

SSShhhhhhh! Don’t let Chet99 know about this.
He will certainly take this as proof of the Chihuahua’s aggressive, hostile nature - attacking a snake and all.
And the demon is so strong in this breed that it actually lived through the bites! Legislate Now! Muzzle and then kill the beasts!

I have nothing against Chihuahuas. I would just rather have a dog.
