I love my kitties, but if I was starving, I might eat someone else’s cat. But most likely, I would eat that cat’s owner and adopt the cat.

What a barbaric idiot. I'm sorry for those of you whom would like to eat a cat...but they are not 'wild' creatures (house cats) although can become feral if abandoned. But overall they are domesticated animals and depend on humans in large part. There are plenty of other creatures out there that are meant to be eaten.
