If BHO is removed from office because he is not a natural citizen, he then becomes a race martyr and Biden becomes president. Hillary probably becomes VP. How would this help conservatives in 2010 and 2012 -- it would hurt us, right?

If the Lewinsky debacle had removed Clinton, Gore would have become President and cruised to his own electorial victory. This would have been a disaster.

I agree there is a puzzle here. I agree there is free speech & everyone has a right to pursue this. My question: is there some angle here that I've missed that makes this smart?

Nothing 0bama could do would “make this go away”.

First Hawaii says it doesn't issue the “long form” anymore, IIRC. If you ask for any documentation of birth you get a certification of live birth form that looks like the one 0bama says is his.

Second, even if he “freed the Long Form”, no matter how documented to be authentic it was; most birthers would insist it was a fraud.

Third, there are those who say he is not and could NEVER be a natural born citizen so long as the father listed is a foreign national. To these birthers no amount of authentication that 0bama was born in Hawaii would ever suffice.

So the idea that ‘for $20 (or whatever amount) 0bama could make this all go away’ is ludicrous.

It has never been actually defined in the context of Section 1 Article 2, so it therefore defaults to the accepted interpretation, in the year of 2010, of what a natural born citizen is: a person born in the United States, or born to one or two U.S. citizens abroad, with certain limitations prescribed by Congress.

Despite the fact that you're a noob I think you ask an excellent question. This issue is bigger than Obama and should be dealt with as such. The real issue is the flaw in our system that has been exposed.

Its pretty obvious that neither the courts or congress are going to remove Obama under any circumstances. This s an issue that should go to the state legislatures with no specific goal of removing Obama. It doesn't even take all the states to require eligibility to be proven when one or two would stop a potential usurper in his tracks.

There is plenty of traction to be had elsewhere with Obama and its been pretty effective at slowing his agenda to a crawl.

The COTUS has been being ripped to shreds for 100 years. To better manage any slowly evolving, large scale disaster, it is important to organize and prioritize.

The probably outcomes: 1) time and effort wasted. 2) potential supports discouraged from joining the Teaper Surge. 3) some close elections lost.

Can we break the negative narrative assigned & maintained by the MSM? When I see a decent chance you will have my active support. Until then, though, I am just worried that this is pulling the wagon down a much longer and more difficult road to our ultimate goal: restoring the COTUS.

This makes perfect sense, at least as far I can tell. Getting TEXAS or someone to carry this flag could be a great next step that would minimize the “wacko” narrative and, just as you said, derail the administration. Thanks!

You are right. Obama has a long, long, long list of missing documents and unexplained issues concerning his life.

His natural born status, though, should be straight forward. ALL **original** and/or certified birth and adoption documentation can be requested by the courts and legislators and the Supreme Court can rule on all aspects of his natural born status.

Truth: Obama has gone to very considerable and expensive trouble to hide documents and information that the unanointed American routinely discloses throughout his lifetime.

Truth: Obama is acting like a guilty man.

Truth: Obama even used DOJ attorneys ( paid for by the U.S. citizen) to prevent the release of information and documents that common Americans release routinely. He **wasted** and misused American resources.

Truth: Obama used DOJ attorneys and distracted them from the important work of keeping American safe, all in an effort to hide common information.

The "negative narrative" has never stopped and will never be stopped. Instead of letting it bother anyone, people need to start realizing that as soon as they start getting branded with negative terms, or getting name called in other words, the opposition has revealed a weakness. Alinsky tactics states that mockery is among the most potent of weapons. You don't bring out your most potent weapons against a foe that doesn't worry you. "Birthers", "Teabaggers", and "Palinistas" are the people that most worry the left. Glory in it.

Of course if you get all weepy that some mean commentator called you bad name perhaps it's time you need to cowboy-up or get out of the fight.

Nothing 100%, but I’ve not heard any reasonable doubt from any quarter about his NBC status. Nobody has, to the best of my knowledge, tried to contradict that he was born on US soil to two US parents.
