Why was a founding member of the FreeRepublic LLC 501(c) board banned by a modmin/admin who is no more than a volunteer sitting at home on a ego trip?
How many thousands of archive pages were just fractured due to this foolishness?
Not only should a full explanation be given to the public, the admin who approved this measure needs to be publicly named, and publicly defend the position.
THis is the most abject failure of the modmin system that John Robinson devised in the history of FR since the rebuild in 1999.
If the admin powered individual was anyone other than current or former formal members of the LLC, the admin must be removed from the admin level and any admins who want to defend that admin should also make themselves publicly known and defend their position.
This banning is an indictment on the failure of the admins of this website. That is putting it politely.
Check out some of his postings ..quickly...seemed he is a Palin supporter. I must have missed something. BobJ has been around from the beginning. What’s up?

Right, magnesium is cheaper and actually starts when wet. That said. Being banned isn't the end all. If BobJ wants to come back, he'll have to follow the rules.....apparently that means no SP bashing currently. I called him an AH the other night and I thought he handled it quite well. We lose a lot of good FReepers on purges......sigh.

BobJ probably went over the line with his PDS. I met Bob, and I like him, but he really hates Sarah, and anything that goes against the Republican establishment.
I did a quick read and he's definitely against Sarah Palin, and also against those in the GOP (and the Tea Party) who are what he calls "social conservatives". He says that the Tea Party is about fiscal conservatives and (basically, in so many words) that social conservatives (that would be the God, family values, no homosexual marriage, etc... group) are "out" -- and not relevant to the Tea Party.
Again, I'm doing a quick read and paraphrasing here, but that seems to be basically his position.
AND..., I've see others here who say that it's these of the "Christian right wing" that are "doing the GOP in" -- and they wish they could get rid of the Christians or else they wish the Christians would simply "shut up and vote GOP" doncha know... LOL ...

I don’t like Sarah Palin either; which is not to say that I dislike her. I certainly thought she was the most respectable and qualified candidate of the four offered by the two parties [for pres./v.p.]. Also some of the ‘Palin-worshipers’ seem to be the ‘lite’ version of the Obama-sheeple, further lending credence to the claim that the Republican party is nothing/little more than Democrat-lite.
