A Manhattan woman whose picture was used as a sexual aid in the hit movie "Couples Retreat" has filed a $10 million lawsuit over her inspiring -- and unwitting -- appearance in the Vince Vaughn flick.
Irina Krupnik "only learned of defendants' lascivious use of her photo in the film" after it was released in theaters -- and was horrified to discover it was being used as a "masturbatory prop" for a character played by Jon Favreau, the makeup artist says in papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court.
"That photo was taken nearly 10 years ago for a modeling job when Ms. Krupnik, a native of the former Soviet Union, was just 21 years old," the suit says, and she was unaware that the bikini shot would be used in a "sexual and degrading context" in a big-budget Hollywood movie a decade later.

"great humiliation, embarrassment, emotional distress, shame, mortification and injury to her reputation and career." Translation: She cannot stand that she will never look that good again.

Wow. Is that a drunk arrest picture? The guy is a mutt like Tom Hanks.Actually (IIRC) Vaughn was being hassled by some local boys in North Carolina while shooting a film. He and Steve Buscemi were attacked and Buscemi was stabbed. I think Vaughn was charged with a drunk and disorderly type of charge.
BTW, I think Vaughn's a decent enough guy. He is definitely not an in-your-face ahole. Like most of hollywood.

I knew it was there somewhere.....
He acknowledged that his client had signed a general release at the time the picture was taken, but said she'd never imagined it would be used in a "quasi-pornographic context."

Women need to know that if they pose for a bikini picture, and that picture is going to be published in a magazine, it’s going to be used sexually.
That’s why they had you pose in a bikini.

From the IMDB: "Rated PG-13 on appeal for sexual content and language. (originally Rated R for some sexual material.)"
I miss the gold old days when you could go to a movie and not have to worry about sexual content. These days, that's the first thing I check. And even when you check, there are always little surprises. I've seen brazenly sexual content on the Disney channel. :(
And PG-13 is a ridiculous rating. PG-13 is the new R.
Thanks, Hollywood, for turning everything into a cesspool.
