Next Month you can buy a Texas Town.

He's tried.

For two years, Moody Anderson has attempted to sell the Texas "ghost town," The Groves. Even had it up on eBay. There were no takers. Fickle bunch, those eBay folks.

The Groves is a made up of five buildings, each containing hundreds of collector's items. We'll let Texas Escapes give a proper description:

If I buy it can I exempt the town from impending socialism?

There were no takers

You need to buy the town first, and then pay for its maintenance forever, given its museum status. But no income. Looks like a hole in the ground that you throw money into.

Take a gander at what's ahead for us with the redistribution of wealth democrats are day by day heading us towards:

Images of Texas colonias

The Border Economy

The Texas colonias are unincorporated and impoverished subdivisions that flourish along the state's border with Mexico. More than 1,400 colonias dot the 1,248-mile stretch from Cameron County on the Gulf of Mexico to El Paso County in the west. The 400,000 residents of these subdivisions struggle daily with living conditions that resemble a Third World country's—ramshackle dwellings, open sewage, lack of sanitary water and drainage, dusty unpaved roads, no plumbing.

Y’all did notice that they’re selling the contents of the museum item-by-item, right?

I thought about them but since this is an auction I doubt they’d be able to pick stuff at a price to their suiting.

That's the fancy way to word living in utter squalor. There used to be a website that listed all the towns along the border where absolutely no English is spoken. It's somewhat of a US-gaza strip - who knows who lurks there with drug cartel members and gangbangers likely assured a place to hang out with assurance its not likely they'll be disturbed there.
