Laugh at him. The One cannot bear mockery.

Does anybody know the time and place?
Governor Culver Welcomes President Obama to Iowa
DES MOINES Today, Governor Chet Culver said he looks forward to welcoming President Obama to Iowa City on Thursday, and is honored the President chose Iowa for the first stop on his tour to celebrate the historic passage of federal healthcare legislation.
Iowa is a national leader on health care and our administration has been working hard to extend coverage to children and adults, while helping hold the line on premiums for Iowans and small businesses with private insurance, Culver said. This truly historic legislation will help Iowa maintain our high-quality health care system by increasing Medicare reimbursement rates, eliminating pre-existing conditions, helping seniors better afford prescription drugs and cutting our national debt by over a trillion dollars.
Details of the event have not been announced.

Obama is scheduled to headline an event at the U of I Fieldhouse at 1 p.m. Thursday.
The Iowa Republican Party is planning a rally in Iowa City the day before President Barack Obama is scheduled to visit the city, where he launched his proposal for expanded health care coverage as a candidate three years ago.
Likewise, a rally and fund-raising effort by the Iowa GOP is aimed at snuffing out any momentum Obama gets from signing the bill today by rallying against the new law before he arrives Thursday.
Beats me. I am just offereing my two cents’ worth.
***Stand Up 4 Freedom Rally to be held in protest of Obama visit to Iowa City***
The weekend passage of unpopular health care legislation marks a sharp turning point not just for our health system, but for the future of this country.
Despite a majority of Americans voicing strong opposition to ObamaCare, 219 liberal members of Congress voted yesterday to pass the new legislation. They ignored the emails, the phone calls, letters, polls and the tea parties. But most significantly, they ignored their constituents.
So in a response to President Obamas “Look what I did” trip to Iowa City on Thursday, the Republican Party of Iowa is hosting a Stand Up 4 Freedom Rally on Wednesday evening.
Located on the east side of the Pentacrest, the event will begin at 6:00pm and conclude by 9:00pm.
Tentative speakers include:
Dr. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, Candidate for U.S. Congress: http://www.millermeeks.com
Steve Rathje, Candidate for U.S. Congress
Christopher Reed, Candidate for U.S. Congress
Rob Gettemy, Candidate for U.S. Congress
Brenna Findley, Candidate for Iowa Attorney General
Matt Strawn, Republican Party of Iowa Chairman
Natalie Ginty, Univ. of Iowa College Republicans
Additional details of the event will be posted as they become available.
Awesome!
This is war, political for now, but perhaps not for long.

Beware of the people in Iowa City...it might as well be little Chicago...easily the most backward left city in Iowa
Ping to Iowa Freepers. Let’s hear about a great Iowa FREEP of BO!
This is going to be hilarious. Honestly, I hope that Emperor Bozo the Usurper stumps every single day for socialized medicine, now until November.
I know how much everyone on the Right is hurting this week, the profound sense of grief we feel for the future of our nation, and our sense of betrayal by the officials we elected to represent us.
But the debacle on Sunday was basically a matter of being overwhelmed by sheer numbers. Our GOP representatives hung tough for the most part, and gave us some inspiring moments, like Boehner’s final speech. The fact that this travesty didn’t pass last August is a credit to the Tea Partiers, the new media, and many of our elected officials.
Now, we are at war with the power-mad Left, a war we did not seek.
We are not without resources to fight this war. And one of them is the Emperor himself, who simply cannot shut up. He has been dangerously overexposed and turns people off every time he gets on the stump.
Yes, losing a political battle hurts and the danger of socialized medicine is real.
But we make a mistake by casting the Emperor and his sycophants as invincible. This is the path to defeatism, and in its way just as bad as underestimating our enemies.
If the Emperor were truly the transformative figure he claims to be, ObamaCare would have passed within the first 100 days, with bipartisan support in both houses and solid poll numbers.
If that had happened, I would agree with pessimists on the Right who are singing a dirge over the prospect of Euro-Socialism coming to America.
Still, we’re in for the political fight of our lives, no doubt about it.
The upside is that if we win, not only will ObamaCare be replaced by sensible, market-oriented reforms, but the American Left may at last be consigned to history’s dung heap.
Think I’m too optimistic? Well, in 1861, chattel slavery still had many defenders ...
great post kind sir! thank you
I’d like to go but I got a committee meeting then.
I heard via a caller to Rush's show that a bunch of Tea Partiers were there to greet Zero... they sounded "fired up and ready to go!" There were only a few Obama supporters outside, according to the caller.
God bless all of those Iowa Tea Partiers... wish I could be there.
