Awww, you had me going there for a second, until I read the date of the original article.
* Given their basic policies summarized in the two formulas, no rash adventures and respect for pledges, the problem for the Allies is to induce or compel their enemy to attack rashly himself.
I predict the Allies will solve this problem in spectacular fashion in the near future.

Stalin and Hitler never met each other in person.
Trivia question:
Who shook hands with Stalin, Hitler, Roosevelt, Churchill, Mao and DeGaulle?
Molotov
Wonder if the 51st has ever heard of Erwin Rommel. Have a hunch they will.
Ding! Ding! Ding!
We have a winner!
Vyacheslav Molotov. I believe he is the only person who could make this claim.
PS:
I did not include Mussolini because I don’t think he ever met Il Duce. He may have met Ciano when he visited Berlin in November 1940, but am not sure.

Day 208 March 26, 1940
U-38 stops Norwegian MV Cometa 65 miles northwest of Noup Head, Orkney Islands, and demands to see her papers. Kapitänleutnant Heinrich Liebe gives Cometas crew and passengers one hour to abandon ship. Cometa had previously been boarded by HMS Kingston Peridot; therefore, a Royal Navy officer and four naval ratings are aboard for the passage to Kirkwall, Orkneys. At 2.20 AM U-38 fires one torpedo and sinks Cometa but the crew of 31, 6 Swedish passengers and the 5 British sailors take to the lifeboats and are picked up by HMS Northern Sky.
