ATTORNEY GENERAL MARK BENNETT’S OFFICE SAYS THEY HAVE “NO GOVERNMENT DOCUMENTS PERTAINING TO THE PREPARATION OF THE PUBLIC STATEMENTS MADE BY DR. FUKINO”
The Post & Email is in receipt of a letter signed by Jill T. Nagamine, Deputy Attorney General of the State of Hawaii, which affirms her email early last month to our Editor-in-Chief, Mr. John Charlton, stating that her office will not or cannot corroborate any of the Department of Health’s public statements regarding the alleged birth of Barack Hussein Obama in Hawaii.
Ms. Nagamine’s March 19, 2010 formal letter was sent in response to the Hawaii Petition Campaign’s request for Hawaii officials to release Obama’s birth records and proof that he is a “natural born Citizen” as required for the office of President by Article II, Section 1, paragraph 5 of the U.S. Constitution.
On July 27, 2009, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, Director of the Hawaii Department of Health, issued a public statement which declared that Obama was “born in Hawai’i” and a “natural-born American citizen.” She did not expound on how she arrived at her conclusions.
The office of the attorney general has now contradicted in a formal letter the content of an email sent by Janice Okubo, Public Information Officer at the Hawaii Department of Health, in which she responded to a student researcher that the attorney general, Mark Bennett, “had reviewed and approved” Dr. Fukino’s July 27 statement:

Chiyome is telling us that Obama’s birth certificate does not confirm Obama was born in Hawaii. This is a significant admission. Her October 2008 statement was about the DOH having the original birth certificate on file in accordance to state policies and procedures. Obama’s COLB is supposed to be an official abstract of that same original birth certificate. If genuine, it would have full legal weight to prove Obama was born in Hawaii. IOW, if the original birth certificate proved Obama was born in Hawaii, there’s no need to cite any other records. By citing vital records (in plural), she is admitting the original birth certificate does NOT confirm Obama was born in Hawaii.

Maybe this explains his mysterious behavior. It’s a clever strategy designed to raise funds for 2012. He’ll soon announce that he’s willing to provide his long form BC if someone will send him the $20 to get it. If 5 million respond, he has a war chest of $100 million that may give him the deciding advantage. Of course, he wouldn’t actually release the long form until after the election saying “Oh, I didn’t know you wanted to see it BEFORE the election.”

It looks like Janice Okubo lied about the Hawaiian Attorney General who she says reviewed the Fukino Obama vital records statement before it was released to the public.

The Attorney General of Hawaii has subpoena power and therefore he could subpoena Obama’s birth records if he wanted to. Obviously, he doesn’t want to.
If the Attorney General wanted to convene a Grand Jury investigation for forgery or fraud, he could do that as well.

I think the major Tea Party a while ago, plus the recent one against Hellth Care with what - 2 days notice? - poll numbers diving, etc, are scaring them.
