Pirates will be allowed to sue US Navy in world court, under direction by Eric Holder.

Exactly HOW stupid do you have to be to fire on a U.S. Navy vessel?

Maybe they figured they'd be wusses like those Brits that got themselves captured awhile back?

I suspect that, with the failure of the LCS program, the Perry FFs will be extended in service.

If he could get away with it, he probably would.

Why capture it? Sink it on the spot after massive shelling.

Now we will have another dozen terrorists clogging up the courts.

I don’t doubt that for a moment, just waiting for the indictment to come down.

Piracy is an age-old problem in need of an age-old solution:

The only capturing of the pirate mothership I wanted to see was on film as it blew up.

OK, the report says it took them 90 minutes to capture the pirates and their equipment after coming under fire from the pirates.

Whadda ya bet that 80 minutes was consumed with the Captain securing permission under punitive ROE.

“Whadda ya bet that 80 minutes was consumed with the Captain securing permission under punitive ROE.”

Probably right. Rules should be, if fired upon, return fire until the threat is gone, whatever that means-destroyed, captured, etc.
