Long’s words from the past may seem to some an eerie prediction of things to come. Quoting from the Federalist Papers, several Supreme Court cases and State Department officials, Long lays out in great detail the differences between “citizen,” “native born citizen,” and “natural born citizen.”

According to the LSM, he’s a “constitutional scholar”. He hasn’t even written a single law review article that I’ve been able to find. The LSM still continues to push this meme anyway. If he’s a “constitutional scholar”, then I say show the evidence. Being a community organizer and lawyer for ACORN doesn’t cut it for me.
They also keep pushing the lie that Obama is "brilliant", as a law student, and otherwise. I see no evidence of that, either. He reads words written by others on a teleprompter. Hell, that's Ron Burgundy "brilliant" (i.e., he's an idiot). I'd like to see his law school class rank as evidence of his "brilliance" as a student. He won't tell you want it was. No one will. That's the first question you get asked if you're interviewing for a job in a law firm, "what was your class rank?". If someone won't tell you, it generally means one thing: it stinks.

I wonder if it will have a bearing on who Obama picks for the SC. Wouldn’t you just love to be a bird on the wall while Zero’s minions are interviewing his potential candidates...lol! How would they phrase the questions without giving away the fact that the questions actually concern Obama’s eligibility and how the candidate might rule on the issue?!

Willoughby, in his work on the Constitution (Vol. I, page 283), makes the positive statement that: “The naturalization of a father operates as a naturalization of his minor child, if they are dwelling in the United States.
We find the positive declaration of the court that the “citizenship of the father is that of his child.” (1 Ruling Case Law, 796.) There is no dispute on the facts that the father in 1862 was an English subject. There can hardly be, under the law just quoted, any dispute that Mr. Hughes was at the time of his birth an English subject. If he was at that time an English subject, he became a citizen of the United States by a process of naturalization, and is not a “natural born” citizen of the United States. He became a citizen by virtue of the subsequent act of his father.
The subsequent act of Hughes's father was to become a U.S. citizen by naturalization. On the other hand, Obama's father's subsequent act was to remain a British/Kenyan citizen and leave the country.
I can't imagine anyone who supported the views of this President would last very long on this forum.
