LOL
Nice poster
230 gr times 900 FPS into a 1/2 inch area. I like that kind of math.

After having done business there many times, I went in there once and didn't buy anything. The man said "Come back when you want to buy something" as I was leaving.
I go to the place up on Admiral or to one of the independent places in OKC now.
The most available around the world is 9MM.
I was just kidding you. I am from Hulbert and just wanted to tease. I now live in CA, SFO Bay Area.
You made the right decision. I grew up around guns and pretty much know what I want, when I am ready to make a purchase. However, I am looking to them for guidance and when you are blowing hundreds and sometimes thousands, at their business, they should be able and willing to provide assistance or guidance.
I have run into a few places like that out here and found the A**holes who act like this are nothing more than order takers(That shit pisses me off, as a salesman) and they generally don’t know much.
In fact, I ran into two turds, in the same shop, who didn’t know their ass from a hole in the ground and here is what I discovered:
THEY EITHER DON’T OWN A GUN OR CAN’T AFFORD HIGH QUALITY TOOLS.
Eff-em! I complained to the owner who now takes a personal interest in my decisions. I told him I was referred by some very reputable people and dropped their names. His response is very illuminating every time I come in his store and I don’t talk the idiotic employees, except for simple ammo purchases.
You made the right decision to move on to a retailer who knows something about providing guidance.
There are two other shops I have been to and one indoor range where my experience has never been friendly or even useful.
I drive out my way to the other indoor range because they are not only helpful but many employees actually similar weapons and we share similar backgrounds.
So don’t go back to those chumps who are only looking to make a quick buck, while they mentally prepare themselves for 0PRAH.
Can you imagine going to the your local appliance store, looking for a washer/dryer, refrigerator, stove/oven, etc and they don’t provide any direction?
I would leave, as well.
Post on.
I got one when T.M. first started posting here about the CZ-52. Surplus ammo has been great - corrosive, but good quality ammo (I get mine primarily from Sportsman’s Guide). Mine has the original firing pin, so I still need to get a couple of newer replacement pins.
Get a couple of sets of new roller locks as well. In doing some research when buying my CZ-52 .. also inspired by T.M. .. it was noted that these were sometimes made out of inferior metal as well, like the firing pin. So, when I replaced the firing pin, I also replaced the rollers.
I bought three firing pins and three sets of rollers .. replacing the firing pin and one set of the rollers immediately .. as well as a replacement barrel, recoil spring, sear and sear spring.
I love my CZ-52 hand-cannon ...
Heh, heh - that’s what I call mine: the hand-cannon!
Where did you buy your replacement parts?
I’ll have to get back to you on that. All of that information is on the hard drive of the computer that went belly up yesterday. I’ve taken it in for repair .. the power supply unit, I think .. but, until I get it back, all of my information is on there.
Because RCBS makes dies for forming 7.62x25 cases out of U.S. 5.56mm/.223 cases. Which are also reeeeal common. And because .30 M1 carbine tracer bullets can be loaded into 7.62x25 cases, as well as a couple of other neat projectile styles not readily available in surplus or commercisal ammo loads.
If you have time on your hand, go for it I say! I’ll just connect to CheaperThanDirt and let them deliver more spam cans!
Nice looking pistol. I might have to look into one of these.

And a different firing pin and set of rollers from:

Have you come up with any easier .. and faster .. ways to change magazines? The magazine catch on mine seems awfully stiff and requires some work to get the magazine to drop out of the pistol butt. All of my magazines are original equipment, but they still seem really tight in the magazine well.
I have original and aftermarket mags and they are all a little different. The release catch is stiff but I have gotten used to that style of mag changing, using the left thumb etc. I’d just try some more mags to find looser fits. But none will drop free. Basically you have to use the left hand to release and pull.
Thanks for directing me to the CZ-52 months ago ...
That used to just be called “the European method” of removing mags, compared to the US Colt .45 method with the thumb button. Our way is clearly better (one handed etc) so you don’t see the bottom latches much any more.
