I was watching the stock market, and the dow just dipped below 10,000 (9,989). Not looking good for Obama.

I feel a little guilty enjoying this. But knowing it reflects badly on Obama makes me feel good.

So buy now, or wait for even lower prices?

Dems did a lot worse in hoping for failure in Iraq.

This trading range sucks for me. I need it/want it to drop down further before I buy more. I’m looking for DOW 7000. I’m looking for FCX @ 50 or less. Otherwise I’m on the sidelines, holding my position. I don’t have the time or inclination to play these 300 point swings. It’s good for the pros though. A lot of churn.

Wait.
We are going to enter a double-dip recession. The best time to buy will be when the Dow is on the upward swing of 5,000.
Cheers

I feel guilty too, remember back in the day when we used to say, “Bad news for America means good news for Democrats”?

The problem is, while it's not looking good for Obama, we're the ones who are getting screwed by his economy.

So buy now, or wait for even lower prices? That's the question, right? I'm just a layman/hobbyist, but I'm waiting. I bought right after the big crash in 08 (how time flies). I want to see the extreme lows tested. Then I'll buy. If it never comes, oh well. But they're stuck in a volatile range right now. It has to break out up or down. I'm guessing down, and waiting. I might get impatient and buy on the way down a bit if they hang a 7 on the DOW, or even a low 8, but that's ok.

Is it time to empty out the 401K?The Obama Administration, aided by a willing Democrat Party held congress, will be along shortly to do that for you.

Whatever. It's only money. You know, jobs and stuff like that.
Let's take a lesson from Dear Reader and party like it's 1969.
