That's going to cut down on the sexual partner selections for a whole bunch of Muslims. The women are all "tied up" by the rich guys, with four wives and as many concubines as they can afford. That leaves chimpanzees, orangutans, gorillas, and of course goats for the "common" male muzzie. Maybe it would be better to substitute bonobos for chimps, the average chimp female wouldn't have a muzzie and would probably rip his arms, and other appendages, off.
OTOH, Bonobo females are, unlike chimp females, accostomed to being able to refuse sexual advances from undesirable males. I guess now that I think about it, chimp culture and many Muslim cultures have a lot in common.
This is stupid. This isn’t a response to genuine moral concerns (unlike, for example, laws directed to embryonic stem-cell research) — this is mere pandering to mindless “ewwww” reactions.
We already have these in the WH.

Sensationalist crap. There are already dozens of medications based, in part, on animal sequences and humanized mouse cells, etc.
Pigs make organs similar to humans —a lot of current research centers on how to humanize the epitopes that present on the cell surfaces.
Should we not do that?
We could save millions. The problem is getting worse —people are living longer, while the number of donors is stable. Also minorities seldom donate organs.
I don’t get what the big deal is here.
“Ear mouse” freaks them out every time; usually it’s a plastic scaffold, or a cartilage one and they’re just testing to see if mouse cells will grow on that inserted scaffold.
People think that mouse DNA directed the growth of the ear and that’s wrong.
I know of NO case in which the DNA content of a mammal has been altered via recombinant DNA technology to the extent where the external appearance of the large mammal changes radically.
I’ve seen a chicken (not a mammal) that coo’ed like a pheasant, and I’ve seen mice/pigs/etc that glowed in the dark, but say, a cat with antlers....?
Never seen it, or even seen photos of such a thing. I’ve also never even heard of it.
People just like talking about it cuz they enjoy being scared, for some reason.

Just because science and techonology *can* do something doesn't mean it should. This is playing with fire and most likely will have very bad consequences. Trying to make a perfect world beyong what God has created is the path to pertect hell on earth.
