I’ve lived overseas (Panama, Europe). I’ve spent almost twenty years of my life in Europe. At the end of the day....as the sun sets....you basically realize the fundamental values of the US, the cost of living, and the ability to do what you desire outweigh any other country.

People will comment on the unsafe nature of Washington DC, Houston, Miami....in comparison with Stuttgart, London, and Copenhagen. I can drive 100 miles outside of each of the three American cities mentioned...and it’s just as safe as the European places mentioned.

If you’ve never been to Denmark...try going and buying a bottle of Jack Daniels. For what you pay in Denmark....you can buy three bottles of Jacky D’s in Davenport, Iowa. Try buying a car in Germany....and realizing the nineteen percent VAT is already in the price.

For every advantage that some guy wants to make of any place in Europe...I can pretty much win the argument against them. I will admit that a days drive on the Ring-of-Fire in Ireland lowers my blood pressure by ten percent. I will admit that beer of Germany can’t be equaled. But those are of a singular type value.

What he describes as advantages in other countries is nothing but a mirage. There is no way they can afford to maintain this lifestyle in the long term. Particularly when the U.S. can no longer afford to provide many of these countries with a military defense umbrella and financial aid, or prop-ups.
