I once worked for the largest sign manufacturer in the world.
I painted the prototypes for this BP sunburst design back in....2001, I believe it was.
Shortly afterward our plant was shut down.

BP bought and extinguished the Amoco branding. If they’re smart they’ll kill the “green flower” and bring the Amoco name back. Even though Amoco stations kept on carrying the same gas, they suffered brand market share when that hideous bp flower took them over.
