Governor Palin,
Please revoke your support for John McCain and back J.D. in Arizona. I say this as perhaps one of your biggest supporters in the world. Your support of senator McCain is making any Palin supporters' life just flat out miserable on the web. It is giving some sick, twisted and misguided people a tool to divide conservatives. In this case, give in just this one time. It will really put your "conservative enemies" into a corner. Please stop supporting John McCain.
And a message to the anti Palin crowd on FR..
Give her credit for conservatives that she does support like Nikki Haley. Don't focus on a narrow agenda. Please stop with the attacks. Please.
I am not sure what to think. I know that there were fewer attacks until she endorsed McCain. and it was much easier to be a Palin supporter.
A part of me thinks you are right. another part of me thinks that it would put them into a corner and Sarah into a better position if she stopped supporting John McCain.
I agree with this. SEOYC may be misguided at times, but I do believe he speaks from his heart. When he’s wrong at least he is honestly wrong, I can’t say that for all Palinistas.
Did you ever think you would come under attack by the pro-Palins with the Palin critics defending you?
I am getting it on all sides and quite frankly I don’t have much good to say about anyone right now, including you who I can’t stand, including those who I normally like.
Others can attack Sarah all day long. If I give her a suggestion to stop the attacks or I fire back. I am either a troll, a creep or mentally ill.
Ouch. I’m deeply hurt.
Quit spamming the keywords.
That was hours ago! And I only added a couple! Gollleeeee, guess no ice cream tonight huh? (shuffling feet) I’m sorry...)
Thats another thing. If you look at the President we have now. Sarah Palin looks like George Washington in comparison. I am not saying that is any reason to vote for her.
But it seems twisted that a part of the American public see Obama as smart and Palin as stupid. What ?
My fear is that they are going to discourage other normal people from running. As a result you will see fewer Nikki Haley’s and Sharron Angle’s.
Is it because I wouldn’t give you my home phone number?
No. It is because you are “against” Palin. You are not on the fence. You are not arguing in support of someone else. You want to do everything you can to prevent Palin from becoming President
“Thats another thing. If you look at the President we have now. Sarah Palin looks like George Washington in comparison.”
My plumber looks like George Washington compared to Bambi.
A suggestion, quit comparing your candidate to the worst president of the modern era, including Jimmy Carter. It smells of desperation.
“”Your support of senator McCain is making any Palin supporters’ life just flat out miserable on the web.””
I think worse than making us miserable is the damage that her endorsement for McCain does to the value of her endorsements for anyone else.
Every time I hear “Palin endorses so and so”, my instant reaction is; “So what? She also endorses McCain. Her judgement means nothing to me.”
She agrees with him. Why wouldn’t she support him?
“No. It is because you are against Palin. You are not on the fence.”
Have you considered my reasons for being “against” Palin at this point?
If I could make a case that her record doesn’t jive with the things her supporters make her out to be, like a fiscal conservative, loyal, above corruption, petty, vindictive, etc., might you be swayed to the possibility that I’m opposed to Palin (at this point) simply for the reason that I don’t think she is the best person out there for the most important job on the planet?
Don’t feed me that.
Watch her debate with Biden and then watch McCain’s debate with Obama. You will notice some things. The conservative of the 4 is VERY easy to spot.
The unfortunate thing is that she had to run with McCain.
BTW - Just because I’m not “on the fence” doesn’t mean my opinion can’t change, it just means I have strength of my convictions...like you.
So you’re saying she endorsed someone she doesn’t agree with?
Link me to some of their important policy differences.
I hate to sound like Hans Blix
But I have read your arguments against Sarah Palin and I see no “smoking gun” to suggest that she couldn’t be a good President. I see there are things about her that you don’t like. I think one of them is her religious beliefs. You don’t give her credit for doing anything right.
