Jamie Foxx, has apologized to Miley Cyrus for launching a crude attack on the teen sensation on his Sirius satellite radio show, where he told her to "Make a sex tape and grow up!"
He issued the apology on on Tuesday's episode of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, claiming he meant no harm.
"I have a radio show. We're really the black Howard Stern. We go at everybody. There was a situation with Miley Cyrus, and I just want to say, I apologize for what I said. I didn't mean it maliciously. You know I'm a comedian. You know my heart."
It's not clear when the comments were made. But the insults began flying after someone brought up the 16-year-old's recent feud with Radiohead after Cyrus wasn't allowed to hang out with the band after the Grammys.
Foxx, 41, is heard saying: "Who is Miley Cyrus? The one with all the gums? She need to get a gum transplant!"

IMO there's nothing wrong with calling Miley Cyrus names based on how she chooses to present herself. If she wants to be addressed as a respectable young woman than she should present herself as such.

If Foxx wants to be forgiven, he should just claim that he has a sex addiction and go to “rehab” for a week or so.

The entertainment business doesn’t work that way. Never has.
Even back when traveling performers were called “mummers”, in medieval times, the general assumption was that they were people of loose and low morals, on the road because they were no longer welcome, or at least happy, in their hometowns. Gypsies who specialized in stage performance.
Because until the very recent modern era, life in small towns was deathly dull, they looked forward to visits from such people, as long as they stayed out of town proper. With the rise of big cities, eventually the mummers settled down to permanent venues—but still retained their reputation.
So Hollywood and the modern entertainment business are just the latest incarnation of this. And I suppose while it’s possible that some of them are morally upstanding, they will be a small minority, and nobody expects it of them.

Personally, I think Jamie needs a little butt kicking (even if Miley is a wanna-be slut).
