If he gets serious help then this was worthwhile. Hopefully he has at least one friend left who can help him. He said he doesn’t have any friends ... I wonder why?
If someone threatens you you take that seriously.

The agreement was 50/50 custody. That was court approved. She reneged even on visitation. Btw, she agreed to this AFTER the alleged threats. They went to Russia AFTER the alleged threats. Why would he turn her in if he got the baby half the time? Wonder how much she soaks Timothy Dalton for his son.
He is bipolar and has talked about suicide. She's not afraid of him. She's using him and goading him. And she's winning the PR battle. All she had to do was push him and record him.
No. She takes his money seriously. If she took the threats seriously she'd have called the police and/or given the tapes to them and NOT a gossip site.

I’m with you...with the facts thus presented, there is quite a lot more to this story. The ladies here need not get themselves whipped into a Simpson frenzy just yet. I did not see where this Russian gal obtained any protective order, ever. If you fear for your life you do not travel with the alleged offender. IMHO, she does not sound fearful in the tapes. In fact, she sounds quite calm and calculating.
Before I get flamed, I am of the female persuasion. And, I do not condone Mel Gibson’s behavior. I believe the man has a serious drinking problem which leaves him vulnerable to making very bad decisions. The baby is the loser in this deal. I hope she has a decent chance in life despite all of this.
Again with the melodrama. You're very easy to play. The court knew about these tapes in June. The judge issued a restraining order. But she released them to a gossip site in order to cow him. NOT to "save her life". She's now telling the court "It wasn't me!" because she violated a retraining order.

She went on a trip to Russia with Mel,their child, and his mother after the fight. She was not afraid of him.
She got mad after the court ordered him to pay a certain amount and it wasn’t enough for her. I mean $10,000 a month is NOT enough! That is when the extortion stuff started. He hasn’t been blabbing to the media and I don’t think we have heard his side.

I didn’t understand half what he said. I think he is wrong and that was a horrible way to talk to her. Women go through this crap all the time. They need to call the cops and get away from him. It doesn’t belong in the media.

I read she gave them to police just before leaking them. What's the point behind leaking them if police have them?
