I agree with you too, my friend.

As the mother of three now-grown daughters, I can tell you that they are not easy to “govern” no matter how good a parent you are. It’s like herding cats. Just about the time they get their driver’s licenses, they decide they know it all.

Bristol may be immature BECAUSE her family has been so stable and sheltered and moral. She may not have much experience with manipulators and creeps.

She sounds like a typical 19 year old girl to me: her love is unique and special, true love will conquer all, her love will be enough to change him. (By the way, half the grown women I know are still chasing this fairy tale.)

My parents disliked my husband and all our friends were sure we’d never make it; we’ve been married 30 years. They were all wrong about him.

Lastly, these family foibles are no different from those of any of our other elected leadership. Every family has issues.

I have looked up jla’s recent postings, and they appear to be pro-Palin. Appears s(he) is pro-Palin but vehemently opposed to a good many Palin supporters. Perhaps it is a matter of style or perhaps it is a deliberate effort to bring confusion to the Palin presidential effort. In any event it seems counter-productive.

Good grief..... where does all this sanctimonious crap come from? I’m so glad you and your children are so perfect, try getting out in the real world for a change you will find you are in the minority.

Yeah, we read it and can only conclude you thought Reagan was unsuited for the office of POTUS... good thing we didn’t have the internet back then, we’d been denied a great president.

Bristol owns her own home and has for a while now.... she and her baby DO NOT live with the Palin’s.

Life is what it is.

Doesn't mean I have to settle for less. And my brother has 7 kids, 6 of 'em fine, young Ladies.

Giggle. I am assuming that the 7th kid is your nephew, and a very nice young man.

Deal with it, Palinistas, the ceaseless carnival atmosphere surrounding this entire family makes Billy Carter look remarkably tame. They are even giving Hugh Rodham a run for his money.

OTOH, having a ready made slew of "red herrings" to toss to the tools in the media could prove very beneficial. Like when you want to pass some unpopular legislation. Can you say, "Amnesty"?

Perhaps, but note that as late as January, he was proudly claiming membership in the tribe and cult, as we've been called by the Libertarians and One Percenters on this board.

To 140 - It was prompted by the fact that the Blue Ridge hillbilly follows the Palin family like as teen aged girl would a pop singer. (The latter being more mature)

To 143 - Allow me to explain something to you. If Palin gets the nomination 99pc of those at FR will vote for her in the general election. No matter what rabscuttle or anyone else post about her.

No one, excepting those members of this site, which is what, a couple hundred k?, will be remotely influenced by anything posted here or any other sites in regard to Palin.
What is irrefutably disturbing is that people whose lives revolve around this site are living vicariously thru Sarah Palin. Polite people would say that these people have self-esteem deficiencies. I say they are creepy, pathetic freaks.

Good day.

The only carnival atmosphere is that engendered and encouraged by the MSM and RINOs.

Scads of 19-year-olds have gotten pregnant out of wedlock: and to her credit, Bristol kept the child, and appears to be making a go of finishing her education, rather than merely sponging off of her parents.

No drug problems that we know of, unlike Roger Clinton.

No talk of adultery on the part of the parents, unlike the other Clintons.

Oh, and speaking of adultery -- despite Andrew Sullivan, the kid is not Sarah's. Unlike the rumors of Chelsea being Webb Hubbell's love child.

And don't even get me started on Monica Lewinsky.

Nor yet on the endless rumors of drug usage on the part of Bill, or the Bimbo Eruptions team, or "it depends on the meaning of what the word 'is' is."

NO parallels at all.

So, your attempted smear by association is an epic FAIL.

Nice try, though.
